BROOKHAVEN, N.Y. — BoatRenting.com, a New York-based company with a website featuring online bookings of boat rentals, will demonstrate its system at the Palm Beach (Fla.) Boat Show, according to a press release from the company. The show will run March 23-26.

The BoatRenting.com database contains listings of boats of all types and sizes for short- or long-term rental across the US. The database can be searched to find available boats in a range of 5 to 50 miles from any zip code.

Boat rental locations list their available boats free on BoatRenting.com and pay a commission to the company on bookings. To increase potential turnover for rental operators, according to the release, the new service allows each location to self-update their boat listings online at any time.

Rental locations registering with BoatRenting.com at the Palm Beach show will also receive free listings on the company's other web sites: RentaBoat.com, YachtRenting.com, RentaSailboat.com and RentaPWC.com.
